Sen. Ted Cruz: Today's “Bigot” Award Winner

Sen. Ted Cruz Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner This isn’t the first Award presented to Teddy. In the past, he has been the recipient of twenty-one (21) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
During a recent (May 2015) speech hosted by the Un-Family Research Council at a “Watchmen on the Wall” event, Teddy continued to prove that he is a Certified Bigot, Homophobe and Screwball.
During the event, which was held before a group of pastors, Teddy assured his fellow bigots that he would always stand up for their right to discriminate against members of the gay community under the guise of religious liberty.
Feigning angst at the opposition to the so-called “religious liberty” bills in Indiana and Arkansas that would have allowed businesses to deny services to gay customers, Teddy declared:
“The modern Democratic Party has become so radical, so extreme, that they have determined that their devotion to mandatory gay marriage in all 50 states trumps any allegiance to religious liberty under the First Amendment.”
Teddy then went on to say:
What Teddy meant is that he will always standup and fight for the right of homophobic bigots to overtly discriminate against members of the gay community.
This buffoon (my apologies to buffoons), likes to brag that he graduated magna scum laude from Harvard Law School. However, it appears that he skipped classes on Constitutional Law or that Harvard didn’t offer those classes when he attended.
Anyone who graduated from High School knows for a fact that you cannot discriminate against someone by claiming religious liberty. If this were a valid excuse, then the KKK could claim religious liberty in discriminating against African Americans.
For Teddy to actually claim that he is qualified to be President is truly astounding. If he were to win the GOP primary, I’m sure he’d set a record for being the biggest electoral loser in history.
Given Teddy’s virulent anti-gay record, ne must seriously wonder why he expends so much energy spewing forth hatred towards members of the gay community. Maybe we need to ask Teddy the following question:
“What’s in your closet, Teddy?”
Congrats Teddy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigots”; you are far too Humble.
