Attorney Josh Hurst of Hot Springs, AR; ethical gremlin

The state of Arkansas presented Josh Quincy Hurst with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Josh guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to appear in court on client’s behalf
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to respond to multiple client inquiries
  • Failed to take steps to protect client’s interests after being fired
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Josh by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (May 2015), Josh practices at 518 Ouachita Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
