Attorney Nigel Turner of Melbourne, AUS; convicted tax cheat

The Victorian Law Society presented Nigel Mark Turner with a law license in 1978.

The Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal found Nigel guilty of the following misconduct.

• Criminally convicted for failing to file income tax returns for five years
• Failed to timely disclose earned attorney income
• Failed to make provisions to pay income tax on earned income
• Failed to make provisions to pay GST on payments he previously received
• Misconduct involved multiple criminal convictions for tax evasion

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal punished Nigel by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
