Attorney James Hazlett of Victoria, AUS; serial offender, moron

The Victorian Law Society presented James Edward Hazlett with a law license in 1965 after he graduated from Dalhousie University Law School.

The Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up[ yours, said Jimmy!)
• Failed to respond to client requests for information re: estate matter
• Failed to comply with written directions from client
• Failed to maintain reasonable standard of competence (Moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to comply with client’s request for return of file after he was fired

As one would readily suspect, this wasn’t Jimmy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined on five (5) separate occasions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary order to pay a $2,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Jimmy practices at 70 Queen Street in Warragul, Victoria, Australia.
