Attorney John Burson of Arlington, VA; ethical misfit

The state of Virginia presented John Stephen Burson with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny failed to make any efforts to ensure that his law firm had in effect measures giving reasonable assurance that lawyers did not robo-sign documents and that the notaries did not falsely notarize said documents.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2015) Johnny practices at 1816 North Van Buren Street in Arlington, Virginia.
