Attorney Troy Wilson of Richmond, TX; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Troy J. Wilson with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Houston Law School.

The District Grievance Committee found Troy guilty of the following misconduct

  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Troy!)
  • Failed to ensure timely filing of clerk’s record with court of appeals
  • Failed to pay required appellate filing fees
  • Failed to apprise client that appellate matter was dismissed

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Troy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Troy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Troy practices at 8019 West Grand Parkway in Richmond, Texas.
