The state of Minnesota presented Harold R. Wingerd with a law license in 1973.

 

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Harry’s 1stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Failed to timely file Minnesota income tax returns for five years

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary term of probation.

 

Harry’s 2ndbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Routinely failed to deposit unearned retainers into his trust account
  • Failed to maintain required trust account books and records
  • Failed to timely file state and federal income tax returns and to timely file and pay employer withholding tax and unemployment returns
  • Neglected a dissolution matter allowing his client’s spouse to obtain a default judgment against the client

As consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-months suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Harry practices in St. Paul, Minnesota.
