The state of Minnesota presented Robert J. Miller with a law license in 1990.

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Illegal possession of a controlled substance
• Appeared in court while under the influence
• Pleaded guilty to one count of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance

As a of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
