Attorney R. Daniel Day Jr. of Walhalla, SC; moron, repeat offender

 

The State of South Carolina presented R. Daniel Day Jr. wit h a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

 

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

Danny’s 1stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Failed to promptly deliver client or third party funds they were lawfully entitled to receive
  • Failed to represent client competently (Moron)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to consult with a client as to the objectives of the representation and the means by which they are to achieved
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct demonstrating unfitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Danny’s 2ndbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice
  • Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with client’s multiple requests for information
  • Failed to consult with a client as to the objectives of the representation and the means by which they are to achieved
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to represent clients competently (Moron)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Danny practices with the Tenth Circuit Public Defender’s Office at 415 South Pine Street in Walhalla, South Carolina.
