Attorney Heath Briggs of Denver; convicted child abuser

The state of Colorado provided Heath J. Briggs with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Heath guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Heath Respondent knowingly violated his duties to the public to maintain the standards of personal integrity on which the community relies when he committed a criminal act and caused injury to a minor child.

Subsequently, Heath pleaded guilty to a class 1 misdemeanor of child abuse causing bodily injury pursuant to CRS § 18-6-401(1)(a)  and (7)(a)(V), and agreed to a two-year deferred judgment with conditions.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Heath by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Heath.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Heath practices with Greenberg Traurig firm at 1200 17thStreetin Denver, Colorado.
