The state of Colorado provided Joseph C. Coleman with a law license in 1975.

The Colorado State Bar found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Bobby directed his non-lawyer assistant to e-file a co-petition for dissolution of marriage, showing his former spouse as the petitioner and himself as co-petitioner.

Bobby then directed his non-lawyer assistant to notarize the signature line for his former spouse’s signature, even though she had not signed the petition.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Bobby.
