Attorney Stephen Adkins Jr. of Hoschton, GA; ethical leprechaun

The state of Georgia presented Michael W. Adkins Jr. with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Georgia State University Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file interrogatories on behalf of clients in homebuilder dispute, but billed them anyway
  • After client’s informed Stevie he was wrong in billing them for unfiled interrogatories, he promised to correct the bill but never did
  • Failed to informed client’s of receipt of opposing counsel’s discovery requests
  • Failed to serve opposing counsel with response to discovery requests
  • Failed to respond to client’s phone calls and e-mails
  • Failed to promptly return unearned portion of retainer (cheater)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. Jerry 2015), Stevie practices at 1929 Highway 211 NW in Hoschton, Georgia.
