Attorney Cory Aronovitz of Chicago; thieving liar

The state of Illinois presented Cory Jay Aronovitz with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Harvard University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Cory guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to segregate funds received by third party for investment purposes
• Converted (stole) $5,000 of third party’s investment funds to his own purposes
• Misrepresented (lied) about the investment in a letter to the investor

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Cory by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Cory practices with The Casino Law Group at 203 North LaSalle Street in Chicago, Illinois.
