Judge Stevan Ridge of Lehi, UT; ethical troll, repeater

The State of Utah provided Steven Ridge with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law.

FYI: Stevie has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for forty-three (43) years. If it weren’t for a government check, Stevie may well have been relegated to working as a greeter at the Wal Mart located on North University Parkway in Provo.

It should be noted that his isn’t Stevie’s 1^st bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct. Details of said misconduct can be found by visiting the URL listed at the end of this article.

The Utah Judicial Conduct Commission found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Questioned Hispanic defendant who requested an interpreter (aka, due process)
• Entered pleas without counsel or an interpreter for defendants who didn’t speak English
• Repeatedly engaged in inappropriate conduct
• Consumed medication while presiding over various matters
• Made inappropriate comments during WebEx hearings
• Acted impatient when dealing with various defendants
• Acted discourteous to court staff and failing to be diligent in his administrative duties
• Failed to act with due diligence in performance of his administrative duties (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Utah Surpeme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2024), it is rumored that Stevie is employed or has an application pending for a job as a bathroom attendant at the All for Love Adult Store located at 3072 South Main Street in Salt Lake City, Utah.
