Former Judge Brent Adams of Reno, NV; cheerleader for pedophiles

The state of Nevada provided Brent Thomas Adams with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Bob Miller was duped into appointing Brent as a Washoe District Court judge in 1989. Brent didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Reno area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter, Judge Adams presided over a criminal case involving child molester Isaac Onsurez. Onsurez pled guilty to lewdness with a minor under 14, which carried a minimum 10-year prison term.

The prosecutors said Onsurez sexually abused a family member more than 100 times over two years in the late 1990s, starting when the girl was 6 years old.

After Onsurez pled guilty, Judge Adams sentenced him to life in prison. Unvbelievably, Judge Adams subsequently resentenced the disgusting convicted pedophile to just one (1) year in prison.

What could possibly motivate any judge to sentence someone of Onsurez’s ilk to a mere 12 months in prison? Could it be that Judge Adams has a special place in his heart when it comes to dealing with serial pedophiles?

As we speak (ca. August 2021), Brent practices his brand of law at 3350 Blackstone Court in Reno, Nevada.
