Judge Clancy Jayne of Phoenix; potty mouth, repeat offender

First and foremost, it should be noted that that the Clancy has received disciplinary warnings or reprimands by the Judicial Commission on at least eight (8) occasions during his eight-year tenure on the bench.

The Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct has charged Clancy with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Used court resources to boost political campaign
• Failed to report campaign donations
• Solicited corporate sponsorships
• Held “Breakfast with the Judge” events
• Describe Gov. Ducey as a “son of a bitch” for endorsing his opponent

The voters in the Phoenix area had their fill of Clancy and voted him out of office, meaning he’ll be departing in January 2017.

The only thing left now is to see what punishment is meted out to Clancy. Hopefully, the Judicial Commission issues an order prohibiting Clancy from ever seeking another judicial office in Arizona.
