Judge Richard Hagar of Minot, ND; lazy loser

The state of North Dakota presented Richard L. Hagar with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of North Dakota Law School.

In November 2000, Gregory succeeded in duping the voters in the greater Omaha area into electing him as a District Court Judge.

Dick duped the voters in the greater Minot area into electing him as a District Court Judge in November 2006.

The North Dakota Judicial Conduct Commission found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

The Code of Judicial Conduct required Dick to dispose of all judicial matters in a prompt manner.

Despite this mandate, Dick failed to promptly decide at least 12 cases. The delays between trials and decisions in those cases ranged between six (6) and twenty-one (21) months.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the North Dakota Supreme Court punished Lazy Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension from his judicial position.

As we speak (ca. May 2014), Dick remains sitting as a District Court judge in Minot, North Dakota.
