Former Judge Julie Creal of Ann Arbor; vindictive loser

The state of Michigan presented Julie Creal with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

In 1999, former Gov. John Engler was duped into appointing Julie as a judge on the 15th District Court in Ann Arbor. Julie didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Ann Arbor area. She received it because she had previously carried water for the local political hacks.

Prior to resigning as chief judge in Ann Arbor, Julie was the defendant in a lawsuit, which included allegations of sexual harassment against her. Subsequently, the lawsuit was settled for $82,500 before she left the bench.

Julie had the chutzpah to claim that the lawsuit had nothing to do with her resignation.

The sexual harassment lawsuit was filed by former probation agent Wayne Wade in June 2009. Wade’s lawsuit made allegations about “Judge Creal’s sexually charged behavior.” Wade said he was uncomfortable with “unwanted physical touching, sexual and flirtatious talk.”

Wade went on to say that he made at least three complaints against Julie that were totally ignored by those who were obligated to investigate them.

Shortly after Wade’s final complaint of sexual harassment, Julie retaliated against him, which included a reprimand, suspension, and ultimately his termination.

Unbelievably, one of Julie’s stated reasons for suspending Wade was for alleging sexual harassment against her.

As we speak (ca. July 2013) Julie practices law at 2280 Chaucer Drive in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
