► Senior Judge Evan Dee Goodman of Indianapolis; nepotist extraordinaire |
Senior Judge Evan Dee Goodman of Indianapolis; nepotist extraordinaire The state of Indiana provided Evan Dee Goodman with a law license in 1969.
At one time Judge Goodman was the Presiding Judge of the Marion Municipal Court in Indianapolis. During his tenure on the bench, the Judicial Commission found Evan guilty of the following misconduct involving nepotism.
Judge Goodman makes all ethical and well-intentioned practitioners of nepotism look bad. If you weren’t related to Goodman and/or one of his court employees, you weren’t likely to obtain any gainful employment with the Marion Municipal Court.
In truth, Goodman treated the Marion Municipal Court as his personal fiefdom!
As a consequence of his misconduct, the proponents for Judicial Misfits punished Evan by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand
As we speak (ca. April 2012) Evan is employed as a senior retired visiting judge in the Indianapolis area. It appears that no self-respect law firm in the Indianapolis area was about to offer this loser a well paying job!
