Judge Timothy Day of Greensburg, IN; bullying loser

The state of Michigan provided Timothy B. Day with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School.

In November 2012, Timmy duped the voters in the Decatur County area into electing him as a Circuit Court judge.

The Indiana Judicial Qualifications Commission found Timmy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Timmy and his estranged wife lived separately but continued regular contact to discuss possible reconciliation. After he saw her car parked at an apartment of a man he suspected she was involved with, Timmy texted her that he wanted to end the marriage. The wife responded by denying any relationship with the man and invited him to stop and meet the guy.

Shortly thereafter, Timmy came to the apartment to see if he could be introduced to the fellow; however, he brought a loaded shotgun stashed in the front seat of his pickup truck. The wife immediately called a State trooper she knew who arrived and witnessed Timmy and the wife engaged in a heated conversation. The trooper removed the shotgun, unloaded it, and put it in his cruiser.

When the trooper asked Timmy what his intent was by coming to the apartment, the trooper said he “noticed that Judge Day was in a highly agitated state.”

This wasn’t the first time that Timmy flashed a loaded shotgun while engaged in a heated discussion with his wife. In the second instance, his 16-year-old daughter intervened and took physical control of the shotgun.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Timmy by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. November 218), Timmy continues to sit as a Decatur County Circuit Court Judge in Greensburg, Indiana.
