Judge Michael Gibbens of Leavenworth, KS; cheerleader for convicted pedophile

The state of Kansas presented Michael D. Gibbens with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from Washburn University School of Law.

An ethics complaint has been filed against Vinnie with the Disciplinary Counsel charging him with engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, Judge Gibbens presided over a case involving Raymond Soden, aged 67 who was found guilty of soliciting a 13-year-old and 14-year-old girl online and paying the girls for sex.

Prosecutors asked that Soden receive a 13-year prison sentence, arguing that Soden had prior convictions for battery and sexual battery. In his infinite wisdom and as an avowed Misogynist, Judge Gibbens sentenced Soden to five years and 10 months in prison. During the sentencing hearing, Judge Gibbens said:

“I do find that the victims in this case, in particular, were more an aggressor than a participant in the criminal conduct.”

Only a despicable human being would have the chutzpah to even suggest that a 13-year-old girl would or could be an aggressor in a situation where she’s being illegal taken advantage of by a 67-year-old pedophile. Remember folks, under Kansas law and most other states, a 13-year-old cannot legally consent to having sex, meaning such conduct constitutes a criminal act of rape.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Judge Gibbens continues to sit as a First Judicial District Court judge in Leavenworth, Kansas.
