Justice Lawton Nuss of Kansas; ethical dwarf

The state of Kansas presented Lawton Nuss with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Kansas Law School.

Former Gov. Bill Graves was duped into appointing Lawton as a Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court in 2002. Lawton didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in Kansas. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter, Justice Nuss found it acceptable to confer with State Sens. Steve Morris and Pete Brungardt in regards to a school finance court case that was then pending before the Kansas Supreme Court.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Commission on Judicial Qualifications punished Justice Nuss by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

And lastly, it should be noted that Justice Nuss is running for reelection in November 2016; therefore, the voters will now have a chance to send this Judicial Misfit packing. And if he ousted by the voters, I’m fairly confident that Lawton wouldn’t have any difficulty in obtaining employment as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store on NW Rochester Road in Topeka, Kansas.

As we speak (ca. July 2016), Nuss continues to sit as an Associate Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court.
