Judge Martin Zilber of Miami, FL; chauvinistic loser

The state of Florida provided Martin Zilber with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission found Marty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Forced pregnant court employee who suffered previous miscarriages to wheel his heavy chair up several floors to his courtroom
  • Engaged in inappropriate and intemperate behavior
  • Damaged the public’s perception of the judiciary
  • Required court staff to do more than just help run the courtroom
  • Commanded court staff to perform online shopping for him
  • Mandated that court staff register his car
  • Ordered court staff to work on his scrap book and pick up his Art Basel tickets
  • Was being dishonest in preparation and submission of his work time sheet
  • It was obvious to court employees that the most important thing to Marty was to give the appearance he was working when in truth he wasn’t
  • Repeatedly absent from his judicial position without permission to so act

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Marty by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension from the bench effective April 16, 2021 and imposed a fine of $30,000.00.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Judge Zilber continue to provide his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Circuit Court Judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit serving in the Civil Division in Miami, Florida beginning on or about June 21, 2021.
