Judge Robin Lemonidis of Titusville, FL; ethical troll

The state of Florida provided Robin Lemonidis with a law license in 1987 after she graduated from the University of Florida School of Law.

The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission found Robin guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while she presided over the felony criminal trial and sentencing of the State of Florida v. Skyler Francis.

  • Displayed intemperate, discourteous and impatient behavior when addressing various individuals in her courtroom
  • Repeatedly and angrily interrupted defense counsel while he was addressing the jury and questioning witnesses
  • Scolded and berated defense counsel for addressing his client by his first name
  • Repeatedly banged he gavel while glaring at defense counsel
  • During a sidebar, threatened to hold defense counsel in contempt for forgetting to his client’s last name
  • Used inappropriate and intemperate demeanor while addressing witnesses
  • Most alarming was Robin’s that much of this inappropriate conduct occurred after she was informed at the beginning of the second day of the trial that
  • potential jurors were overheard commenting about your perceived dislike of the defendant and his attorney
  • Made undignified and inappropriate statements that undermined the dignity, integrity, and impartiality of her judicial position

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Robbin by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2019), Robin continues to sit as judge for the Eighteenth Circuit Court in Titusville, Florida.
