Judge James Nilon of Gainesville; advocate for convicted Pervs

The state of Florida provided James P. Nilon with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

Former Gov. Jeb Bush was duped into appointing Jimmy as Circuit Court judge in 2005. Matty didn’t get the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter,Jimmy decided it was acceptable to testify as a “character witness” on behalf former Assistant State Attorney William Ezzell of Gainesville to have his law license reinstated. Ezzell pled no contest to video voyeurism, a felony in the third-degree.

In his testimony on behalf of the Perv’s effort to have his law license reinstated, Jimmy laughingly stated: 

• Treats everyone with respect [exceptions for woman in tanning booths]
• He has great legal skills [almost as good as his illegal video taping skills]
• He is held in high regards by 8^th Circuit judges
• Should not be lumped in as one of the “bad apple attorneys” [So he should be lumped in with the really apples, right Jimmy?]

Hopefully, the Perv reimbursed Jimmy for the costs he incurred in purchasing a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads for him to use while testifying on his behalf.

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Jimmy continues to sit as Circuit Court judge in Bronson, Florida.
