Ex. Judge Dallas Powers of Lebanon, OH; serial pervert, convict

Unfortunately, the Ohio Supreme Court presented Dallas Powers with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from Northern Kentucky University.

From 1977 through 2004, Dallas Powers succeeded in duping the voters in Warren County into electing him as a judge.

Subsequently, Dallas was charged for committing the following crimes:
  1. 3 felony counts of sexual battery
  2. 1 felony count of gross sexual imposition
  3. 1 felony count of complicity to theft-in-office
  4. 1 felony count of inducing panic
  5. 1 felony count of intimidation
  6. 3 felony counts of retaliation
  7. 2 felony counts of intimidating a witness
  8. 3 misdemeanor counts of public indecency
  9. 1 felony count of unauthorized use of property; computer, cable or telecommunication property
Dallas’ perverted conduct
  1. Three employees sued Dallas for sexual harassment for creating a “hostile, offensive, intimidating work environment” by making repeated requests of employees to engage in sex acts, and for being verbally abusive concerning women, women’s bodies and their attire.
  2. Mary Velde, 33, said that Dallas touched her sexually in the courthouse on at least two occasions after she refused his advances.
  3. In Dec. 1999, Dallas ordered Court Clerk Terry Smith to hire Ms. Libbie Gerondale as a deputy clerk. Libbie wasn’t hired for her legal skills; she was hired at taxpayer expense to perform sexual favors for Dallas on the public dime. Several employees claimed to have witnessed sexual activity between Dallas and Libbie at the courthouse.
  4. On August 30, 2004, a court employee walked into Dallas’ office and discovered that he (71 at the time), and Libbie, then 34, were engaged in what appeared to be the beginning or end of a sexual act. Whew!
  5. One court employee said that Dallas focused courtroom cameras on female attorneys, defendants and employees “to observe their physiques.” What a guy!
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Ohio Supreme Court tossed Dallas off the bench and later on his license was suspended.

It is rumored that as we speak (ca. Jan 2012) that Dallas is employed as a greeter and bouncer at the Bunny Ranch just outside of Reno, Nevada.
