New York’s 2019 Judicial Ivory Soap Ethics Rating = 99.75%

Ivory Soap advertises a purity rating of 99.44%. In the New York judicial system, there are 3,178 judges and Justices of the Peach practicing throughout the state. For the year 2019, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New York Commission on Judicial Conduct handed out the following complimentary sanctions against thirteen (13) judge/justices of the peace for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

  • 5 = number of censures
  • 5 = number of resignations with charges pending
  • 2 = number of admonitions
  • 1 = number of removals

This laughable finding by the New York Commission on Judicial Conduct means that New York has a 99.75% Ivory Soap Purity rating for 2019 which is preposterous in that it indicates the near impossibility of finding a dishonest or incompetent attorney.

This would mean that if all 3,178 Judges attended a basketball game at the Rose Hill Gymnasium on the Fordham University campus with a seating capacity of 3,200, it would be nearly impossible to locate the 13 unethical/incompetent judges even if they raised both of their hands.

And lastly, the folks in New York State are incredibly lucky to say the least to have a judiciary that is as honest and competent as the New York Commission on Judicial Conduct findings would have us believe.
