Judge John Hallett of Watertown, NY; disgusting homophobe

The state of New York presented John W. Hallett with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Syracuse University School of Law.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as the LeRay Town Court Justice in Jefferson County.

• Made inappropriate and homophobic remarks and gestures to senior assistant Jefferson County attorney Terence Brennen, who was promoting a film festival honoring actor Viggo Mortensen
• Told Mr. Brenan that “You and Viggo Mortensen should get a hotel room and suck each other's dicks."
• Made a gesture towards Mr. Brennan  with his hand to his mouth to connote oral sex
• After the hand to mouth gesture, patted Mr. Brennan  lightly on the cheek and stated, "there, there, little boy"

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission entered into an agreement wherein Johnny agreed to resign from his judicial office on December 31, 2018 and further agreed that he would never against seek judicial office in New York.

As we speak (ca. January 2019), Johnny the Homophobe practices his brand of law at 200 Washington Street in Watertown, New York.
