Judge Stephen Weithman of Delaware, OH; potty mouth loser

The state of Ohio presented Stephen Edwin Weithman with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Steve guilty of the following misconduct while employed as a Magistrate Judge in Delaware Common Pleas Court in Delaware, Ohio.

• Engaged in abusive conduct aimed at a female litigant
• Ogled women involved in a divorce action in court hallway from top to bottom in demeaning fashion
• Failed to comply with the law
• Told woman’s attorney to provide him with intimate photos of his client’s ex-husband’s girlfriend
• Admitted that he acted like a “wise ass” in his dealings with female litigant involved in a divorce case

In another matter, while addressing the husband’s failure to provide discovery at a formal hearing, Weithman made the following comments.

• “This is so goddamn simple.”
• “I don’t have to sit here for hours and listen to this crap.”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Judge Weithman by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Judge Weithman.

As we speak (ca. June 2015) Weithman continues to be employed as a Delaware County Common Pleas Court Magistrate in Delaware, Ohio, which is 30 miles north of Columbus.
