Judge Noe Gonzalez of Edinburg, TX; moronic loser

 

The state of Texas presented Noe Gonzalez with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Houston Law School.

 

The Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct found Noe guilty of the following misconduct.

 

  • Failed to maintain professional competence in the law (Moron)
  • Failed to comply with the Hidalgo County Indigent Defense Plan
  • Demonstrated incompetence in performing judicial duties
  • Failed to comply with the Texas Fair Defense Act
  • Provided disproportionate high percentage of indigent court appointments to one local attorney (favoritism 101)

In one case, Judge Gonzalez entered a broad receivership order in a divorce case that granted the receiver non-delegable judicial powers. Those powers included the unfettered authority for the receiver to make payments to himself and to his attorneys in excess of $2 million from settlement proceeds arguably belonging to the litigants’ community estate and to bankruptcy creditors without any court oversight, approval,

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

 

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Judge Gonzalez continues to sit as a judge of the 370th District Court in Hidalgo County, Texas.
