Former Judge George Boyett of College Station, TX; ethical troll
The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found George guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

While arraigning a student accused of stealing a Texas A&M ring from a student, George was told the accused thief was a student at nearby Blinn College

After being told the student was attending Blinn College, George told him “You might want to think about going somewhere else considering the nature of your criminal activity.”

George then asked the student if he knew what an “Aggie” ring was and the student said no

George held up his right hand and said, “See this on my hand?,” indicating he was wearing an “Aggie” ring

George set his bond at $50,000 despite the Brazos County bond schedule for said offense was $5,000

Failed to be shall be patient, dignified and courteous to litigants, jurors, witnesses, lawyers and others

with whom the judge deals in an official capacity

Failed to perform his judicial duties without bias or prejudice

Engaged in willful or persistent conduct that casts public discredit upon the judiciary

Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished George by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. February 2023), it is rumored that George has an application pending for a job as a janitor at the Walmart Supercenter Store at 1815 Brothers Blvd in College Station, Texas.
