Judge Raymond Angelini of San Antonio; biased loser

The state of Texas provided Raymond Cris Angelini with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School.

While sitting as a judge on the 187th District Court in San Antonio, the Judicial Commission found Judge Angelini guilty of the following misconduct.

During a high-profile criminal trial, Ray expressed his disgust, disbelief, and disapproval of the defendant and bias in favor of the prosecution through nonverbal facial expressions and body movements.

Observers at the trial witnessed Ray rolling his eyes, smirking, frowning in disapprovals, shaking his head, yawning in boredom and sighing in an exaggerated manner throughout the trial.

While shaking his head, Ray was observed mouthing the word “unbelievable” as defense counsel cross-examined the young victim in the case. One witness stated that Ray’s “theatrical performance” caused a “carnival atmosphere.” At one point, the jury had to leave the courtroom as Ray and a defense attorney engaged in a heated exchange, where Ray lost his temper and screamed at the attorney.

Prior to duping the voters in San Antonio into electing him to the bench in 1994, Ray was employed as a Bexar County Prosecutor. It is painfully clear that Ray’s conduct was aimed at assisting his fellow employer at the Prosecutor’s office. He surely wasn’t concerned about assuring that the defendant received a fair trial before an impartial jurist.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Raymond by gifting him with a public warning. In truth, this certified loser should have been tossed off the bench!

As we speak (ca. June 2012) Ray the Loser continues to sit as a District Court judge in San Antonio.
