Senior Judge Barbara Nellermoe of San Antonio; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas provided Barbara Hanson Nellermoe with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School.

The Texas Ethics Commission found Barbara guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly report total political contributions maintained in account
• Failed to list full name of every contributor who contributed more than $50
• Failed to identify law firms regarding contributions
• Failed to disclose actual vendor payees
• Improperly made $250 political contributions to political committee
• Improper contribution of $500 to political party
• Made improper $250 contribution to political committee during calendar year wherein the office held was not on the ballot

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Public Official Misfits at the Texas Ethics Commission punished Guy by gifting him with a complimentary $500 fine.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Barbara continues to sit as a Senior District Court judge in San Antonio, Texas.
