Judge Charles Wittenberg of Toledo; one of the good guys
Judge Charles Wittenberg was a Common Pleas Judge in Lucas County from 1996 through 2006 when he retired.
Although I don’t believe I’ve had any personal experiences with Judge Wittenberg, I cannot recall ever receiving any complaints about his conduct on the bench from the thousands of litigants that have appeared before him.
In addition, in discussions with other attorneys in the Toledo area in regards to judicial ethics, they universally gave Judge Wittenberg high grades for integrity, work ethic and legal expertise.
