U.S. Judge John Adams of Akron, OH; pompous loser

The state of Ohio presented John R. Adams with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

Former President George W. Bush was duped into appointing Johnny to a seat as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of Ohio in 2003. Johnny didn’t get the appointment because he was the most qualified lawyer in the greater Akron area. He got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be noted that this isn’t the first award presented to Johnny. That award is listed at the end of this article.

In one matter, Johnny was assigned to preside over a criminal complaint involving Eric Ramey who was charged with creating and passing counterfeit money at Holmes County businesses.

Shortly after the assignment, Ramey’s attorney asked Johnny to recuse himself from the case because Mr. Ramey stated that he had frequently used heroin with Johnny’s brother and nephew.

In his filing with the Circuit Court of Appeals, Mr. Ramey stated that he used heroin and opiates with Jerry Adams Sr. and Jerry Adams Jr. every day for 14 months.

Arrogant Johnny refused to remove himself from the matter by laughingly stating that he was estranged from that part of his family.

Subsequently the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati issued an order removing Johnny from the case. In its order that three-judge panel wrote that it felt that removal “is warranted in this case.”

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Arrogant Johnny continues to sit a U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of Ohio in Akron, Ohio.
