Attorney Sum Chong Mun of Singapore; ethical gremlin

The Court of Three Judges found Sum guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Sum falsely executed a power of attorney by falsely attesting that the person who allegedly signed the document had appeared before him and further lied when he falsely stated that he administered an oath and then witnessed said person execute the document.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on The Court of Three Judges punished Sum by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Sum continues to practice in Singapore.
