Attorney Homobono Adaza II of Philippines; ethical troll  

 

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Homobono A. Adaza with a law license in 1959 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

 

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Homobono guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to represent client within the bounds of the law
  • Failed to impress upon his client the propriety of the legal action the latter wants to undertake, and to encourage compliance with the law and legal processes
  • Failed to impress upon his client the features of the Philippine adversarial system, the substance of the law on ethics and respect for the judicial system
  • Attempted to substitute complaints against justices as s
  • Improperly filed complaints against justices as substitute for appeal
  • Supreme Court held Homobono in indirect contempt of court

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Homobono by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
