Attorney Rustico Gagate of Philippines; Dumbo, slacker

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Rustico B. Gagate with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Rusty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Gross ignorance of the law (Dumbo)
• Engaged in unethical practice of law
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Offered advice to client beyond the proper bounds of the law
• Abandoned client’s cause while the matter was pending

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Rusty by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Rusty practices in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines.
