Judge Cecelia Austria of Philippines; ethical goblin

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Cecilia Austria with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Cecilia guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly posted details as judge In Friendster (
• Posted a picture wearing indecent attire for the public’s consumption
• Engaged in the appearance of impropriety

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Cecilia by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Cecilia continues to sit as a judge in Batangas City, Philippines.
