$15 minimum wage attempt to bribe poor voters

In a recent (early April 2016) column that he wrote for The Washington Times Comedy Newspaper and his appearance on the Fox News Network’s Varney & Co., Fox News’ so-called judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano found it appropriate to spew forth his usual BS and anti-worker crap by spewing forth numerous falsehoods about raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

In his column, Napolitano made the following comments and/or asked the following questions, all of which were aimed at The Times’ intellectually feeble readers.

• “Poor people [wink, wink] will lose their jobs because they simply are not worth a $15 wage”
• “What if these wealth transfers will have profound unintended economic consequences and will negatively affect everyone?”
• “What if the poor are better off being gainfully employed and earning less than $15 an hour, with an opportunity for advancement, than not working, earning nothing and relying on welfare?”
• “What if, rather than pay employees more than they are worth, employers stop employing some of them? What if this results in higher unemployment?”

Apparently, Napolitano and his chief handler at Fox, Roger “Fat Boy” Ailes believe that a minimum wage of $7.25 is not only a “living wage,” but is in some instances much more than what some of these folks [wink, wink] are actually worth.

In the early 1960s, my average take home pay from working in a union factory in Toledo, Ohio was about $350. A minimum wage of $7.25 an hour works out to a gross weekly wage of $290. Deductions for Social Security, Medicare and state and federal income taxes would likely reduce the $290 to a net of about $250 at best. Therefore, 50 years after I took home $350 a week, a minimum wage worker in the U.S. of A. is netting $100 a week less than I did.

So here we have a loser lawyer and government paid judge who never actually worked for a living telling low income folks that they aren’t really worth $15 an hour.

To be fair to Andy, it should be noted that he was merely complying with his master Roger “Fat Boy” Ailes’ instructions to beat down on the lower class.
