Family Leader’s Bob Vander Platts: Today’s “Homophobe” Award Winner

After realizing that he wasn’t going to earn a substantial living as a school teacher, Bobby then decided enter politics in 2002 by running for the Republican nomination to become Iowa’s next governor since that job paid nearly $125,000 a year. Bobby ran for the nomination in 2002, 2006 and 2010 and on each occasion the voters told him to take a hike.

Unable to understand that the voters find him to be a useless candidate, Bobby has now indicated a possible 2014 run for the U.S. Senate.

Bobby’s abject failure to secure a government paycheck as Governor led him to form an organization called the Family Leader. The Family Leader is nothing more than a right-wing organization that is engaged in spewing forth a variety of hate in order to gin up contributions from like-minded bigots and morons.

During a recent (12/17/13) interview with Des Moines radio host, comedian Jan Mickelson, Bobby decided to attack recent Utah Supreme Court ruling that decriminalized polygamy but that didn’t legalize it.

Bobby the Phobe went on to say in part:

The Court’s ruling was evidence that “when you remove God’s design and parameters, there’s no limit to what we’ll invent to be our freedoms.”
Marriage equality will pave the way for parents marrying their children for tax purposes.
“There are no more standards and the judges get to determine. That’s tyranny, not freedom.”

Only a die-in-the-wool Homophobic Lunatic would suggest that parents would marry their children for tax purposes.

Congrats Bobby; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Accomplished “Homophobes”; you are far too humble.
