Solicitor Alison Baxter of Aberdeen, Scotland; lazy loser

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Alison guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Alison personally caused a delay of over eight and a half years to record a standard security in favor of a lender. She also failed to dispose of the same matter on behalf of her client.

In addition, Alison failed to respond to repeated communications from her client and the lender and/or the lender’s agents.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Alison by gifting her with a complimentary censure.
