Barrister Peter Kent of England; drunken convict

The Law Society presented Peter Bryan Carlyle Kent with a Barristers license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Bristol School of Law.

The Bar Standards Board found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in him or in the profession
  • Convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Barrister Misfits sitting on the Bar Standards Board punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a fine of £500 ($641.00).

As we speak (ca. August 2020), Pete practices with 3 PB Barristers at 3 Paper Buildings, Temple, in London, United Kingdom.
