Solicitor Tariq Majid of West Yorkshire, England; convicted scofflaw

The Law Society presented Tariq Majid with a law license in 2010.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Tariq guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of breach of a restraining order imposed by the Sheffield Crown Court
  • Failed to notify the Solicitors Regulation Authority of changes in his place of work or places of business before expiration of 14 days from date wherein the changes took effect

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Tariq by gifting him with a complimentary fine of £5,000 (US $6,116.00) and ordered to pay costs of £1,805 (US $2,207.00).

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Tariq practices with Shaikh Solicitors at 2 Royal Chambers, Upper Piccadilly, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.
