Solicitor Duncan Drummond of Glasgow, Scotland; ethical gremlin

The Law Society presented Duncan Hugh Drummond with a law license in 1997.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Duncan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Duncan!)
  • Failed to timely stamp and record deeds
  • Failed to issue conflict of interest letters to clients
  • Persistent failure in responding to Law Society inquiries

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Duncan by gifting him with a complimentary censure and a fine in the sum of £10,000.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Duncan practices with Lyons Laing & Co. Solicitors at 25 Newton Place in Glasgow, Scotland.
