The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Nato guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain accounting records
• Failed to run office effectively
• Failed to record dealings in office funds
• Retained £25,000 ($27,629) of client funds in office account for one year in violation of SRA rules
• Failed to timely submit accountants’ reports over a five-year period of time

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Nick by gifting him with a complimentary £12,000 ($13,261) fine and ordered that he pay £11,000 ($12,160) in costs.
