Solicitor Kate Adamson of Wales; cheating loser

The Law Society presented Kate Helen Adamson with a law license in 2007.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Kate guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Created a false document, namely a letter which she had purportedly sent to her lender client
  • Provided a copy of false document to a Solicitors Regulation Authority investigation officer in order to mislead her (Screw you, said Kate!)
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Misled her lender client by sending a certificate of title in which she recorded the purchase price of a property as £300,000 (US $366,812.55) when she knew it was in fact £200,000 (US $244,541.70)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Kate by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her solicitor’s license and ordered her to pay costs of £12,372 (US $15,125.91).

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Kate practices with Powel Davies Solicitors Limited at Market Chambers, 27 Eastgate, Aberystwyth, in Ceredigion, Wales
