Barrister Rashid Ahmed of England; convicted of assault

The Bar of England and Wales by Lincoln’s Inn provided Rashid Ahmed with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the London School of Law.

The Bar Standards Board found Rashid guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of common assault by beating
  • Behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in him or in the profession (Really?)
  • Breached, on two occasions, a court-imposed non-molestation order (Screw you, said Rashid!)
  • Head-butted a junior female colleague
  • Left female colleague covered in blood on the ground after he attacked her

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Barrister Misfits sitting on the Bar Standards Board punished Rashid by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Rashid practices at in London, United Kingdom.
