Barrister Julica Carmichael of New Zealand; ethical misfit

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Julica Louie Carmichael with a law license in 2001.

• Misconduct was intentional
• Knowingly created a false document
• Failed to abide by Bank directions to correct false document
• Falsely dated a second bank Authority & Authorization (A&I) document
• Failed to abide by Bank directions to correct false document
• Knowingly created a false A&I document
• Created false A&I document by cutting client’s signature from it

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Zealand Disciplinary Tribunal punished Julica by gifting her with a complimentary censure.
