The Law Society of the Northwest Territories presented BettyLou McIlmoyle with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from the University of New Brunswick Law School.

The Law Society of the Northwest Territories found BettyLou guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, BettyLou found it acceptable to knowingly execute a false a False Record of Employment regarding an employee.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of Inquiry punished BettyLou by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
